Doing OPKs wrong
So I was using FMU when testing and didnt know you had to do the afternoon. Here is my question how many of you can hold your pee in for 4 HOURS to take the test!?!?!?!?!
I pee every 1/2 hour with the way I drink, I'll be on depends soon
If we are out this month Im buying the smiliey ones

Another plus about the smiley ones is you can use FMU.

Wow, you do pee a lot!  Well, like I told you in the FM the smileys are the only ones that you can use FMU with (according to their instructions). Ive been able to hold my urine for about 2 hours and still got a positive OPK. If you're not able to hold your urine for too long then you're going to have to limit your liquid intake.

i pee every 1/2 hour too! i held my pee for 4 hours to POAS and it was pure torture!! imagine when we get prego and the kids sitting on our kidneys 24/7!?

you can but in my almost 2 years of using them I never got a smiley using FMU. I only ever got a  in the afternoon.

I did one a day until the few days I knew I was close to Oing. Then I did 2. But the only months I did 2 was when I did IUIs cause I needed to know as close to as possible when I was Oing. I personally would just do one a day in the afternoon.
I would stop drinking so much at like 3pm and then test when I got home from work so it wasnt 4 hrs but it was a good few hours with no drinking to water it down.

The few times that I actually o'd I never had a problem getting a smiley with fmu. I guess it depends on the person.
I did test 2x a day because I was afraid it miss my surge. But like I said I got a smiley with fmu and also Without.

which ones do you have to hold it in for? I'm starting OPKs next cycle

I didnt take mine at the same time every day. I did them whenever I spent the longest without going to the bathroom. I actually wound up using 2 a day to find my best time. I found got my late one night and  the next day after work.
