Anyone have a Rainbow vacuum?
We just had the in-home demo and we were really impressed with it. But, as we figured was the case, it came with a pretty impressive price tag
Just wondering if any of you have one, and if you feel it's worth the investment.

How did you like it?
The one thing that got me about the demo is that they took my $$$$$$ Dyson, held a light up to it, and showed me that it's just blowing dust right out the side whenever it's running. I really, really wanted to buy it...but we would have been banking on DH's Christmas bonus money to pay it off, and depending on money we hadn't yet received is what landed us in financial difficulty in the first place.

I would hold off until the dyson bites it. No reason to waste good money when you have something that is perfectly fine.

Re: Anyone have a Rainbow vacuum?
lol I remember the Rainbow demonstration we had at my house when I was little!!! It was definitely expensive but my parents ended up buying it...my mom still uses it as of today and it works just as good as it did when she got it about 20 years ago!!! I definitely recommend them. I'm not sure what technology advances they have now, which is probably a million times better then what she has but do they still have the water tank one? That's what we had with all the attachments and loved it...my job when I was little was vacuuming so I'm very familiar with it lol!!!

Yes we have one. Have had it for 5 years now and stil works as new. It comes with a 30year warranty. I figured out the cost over the 30 year warranty and it's well worth it. We were able to get a complete package (all the extras: such as shampooer, couch cleaner, wood floor attachment and cleaner). Bottom line I love it. The down fall for me is the canister is a huge pain for me.

Yeah, the canister is a definitely bummer.
I don't think I'll ever be able to look at my Dyson the same way again. Ugh. And it looks like my 11 month-old DS has allergies, so I know this would be a really good investment.
Ahhh...to have money.
