First Appt had me questioning my first doctor
So i am starting the legwork to get pregnant again (my ds conceived w/ clomid and second IUI in 2009). It's a new doctor that I'm excited about and I go and explain why i'm there. I mentioned i had a block tube and a lap to unblock it. He asks me do I know why it was blocked? I'm like - no, never really thougth to ask. Also asked if I had it checked since and I said no. He tells me it could possible be blocked again. No idea that that could even happen.
So I am going to track my cycle the next couple of months then take blood tests when I can figure out when I generally O and also a day 5 and a day 5 and 7 after O. Such a different start this time around, but I am excited. I am doing the NaPro Technology.

Re: First Appt had me questioning my first doctor
Good luck!
He was probably just asking to get a history. Tubes can become blocked from endometriosis (in which cake it can re-block). It can take a few months to a few years. Or they could have been blocked with scar tissue from an unknown infection if you have ever had an abdominal surgery (apendix/gallbladder. In which case they probably wont re-block.
Most Drs. will have you go for a HSG to check for a blockage before doing any treatments.
I'm not sure what NaPro is. Is it like nupogen?

Yeah, after the blood work, if he doesn't find a problem I will go for a HSG. Na Pro Tech. basically is finding the reason for being infertile and trying to treat that reason so that you can get pregnant on your own.
