Roast Beef
I am making a roast beef tonight (from a thread I saved on here). When I put it in the roasting pan do I put it on a rack or right in the pan? I plan on putting veggies and potatoes in there too. TIA

Re: Roast Beef
I always cut an onion in half and rest the beef on the onions, they act as a trivet and make a lovely flavouring for gravy
Lke this..

Re: Roast Beef
I alternated between carrots and celery w/ some garlic and onion tossed about and lay the roast beef on top.
