O question
We have been since CD8, still no postive that I am ovulating, on CD18. Could it be possible to be pregnant and never get a positive on the big O?

Re: O question
Yes, it is def. possible. Do you test once or twice a day? Its possible if you test once a day you may have missed your surge. Do you temp? Its really the only true way to confirm that you O'd.

Yea, honestly I dont think Im going get back into temping either. Im just going to stick with CBEFM and digital OPKs. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, off topic there lol. Its possible that you may have missed your surge if you only test once a day. But like I said, still possible to get pregnant without getting a positive OPK.
I got this info off the FF website
Can I ovulate without ever seeing a positive OPK (Ovulation Prediction Kit) result? Yes, it is possible to ovulate without ever seeing a positive OPK (or peak reading on your fertility monitor). OPKs are designed to detect the surge of luteinizing hormone in your urine. This is the last hormone to peak before ovulation and the hormone that is responsible for triggering the rupture of the ovarian sac. LH needs to surge in order for ovulation to occur, but in some cases, the pattern of your surge and the time you test (if you do not manage to capture the surge when you test) will not let you see a positive result. If you have a sharp LH surge, for example, you may take one test before your surge is detectable by your kit and another test when your LH has already begun to trail and is no longer detectable by the kit. Whether or not you see a positive OPK result, it is recommended to keep on having intercourse until ovulation is confirmed by a clear and sustained thermal shift and ovulation is detected on your chart.

Have you ever used OPKs before or is this your first month? Last month was our first month trying. So I started out tempin, messed that up though and did better this month and dont think I will cont. But OPKs was 1st for this month. My cycles can be 28, 31 or 35 days. Our 1st month trying I was a day late, CD 37, which never happens to me. So I may not have O yet but, we have been doing the every other night except once and did it that morning and then the next night. On FF it says because last month was a CD36 for me I am suposed to O June 9th but, that may not be true since my cycles are always different. Did that make sense?

Re: O question
It's possible. Nearly anything is possible though.
When I used OPK's I would 2 days worth of though so I would lean towards you not missing it. But that you are Oing late this cycle.
I normally O'd late. Around CD 16 to 21. It varied each cycle.
Just keep every other day until you do get a and if you never get a smiley you know you have all your bases covered because you every other day anyway.
I know it's a lot of work for those who O late... not only do you end up more per cycle but you also have less cycles in a year to get pregnant.
Also, just so you know some women never get a positive on an OPK. it could be contributed to your urine being too diluted with water or from not using FMU or from using FMU instead of pee from later in the day or from not holding your pee long enough before testing. It can be different for everyone. But it doesn't always mean you didn't O so don't get worried. Just keep up the good work!!

I do use my FMU and pee in a cup everytime I do it but, you know I will go out and get the CBEFM if nothing happens next cycle. IDK whats worse waitong to see when you O or the 2 WW!?!?!?
