I've heard that if you have less than 1/2 acre they aren't a good idea since all the bugs in a 1/2 acre are attracted to them so your house will be inundated with bugs. Anyone know if that's true?

Not sure (we have an acre)....I would think if you placed it at the far corner of your property it would still help Chat Icon

We don't even have a quarter of an acre. Maybe I can stick it in my annoying neighbor's yard and let them suffer. Chat Icon

It attracts them by releasing CO 2 and captures them...They go inside it , get vaccuumed and trapped in a net and die from dehydration (per their site Chat Icon )

They sell out very very quickly Chat Icon

I think its similar and maybe Mosquito Magnet came out earlier and uses propane (dont think the Dynatrap does)
We are looking into that as well, except I think it only does 1/2 acre (but I may be mistaken)

There is also a Mosquito Deleto(sp) thats supposed to be decent
