Probably a dumb question..but..
Is it safe to assume that if you have your AF you release an egg each month? I'm just getting paranoid that because of my age (38.5) i'm going to run out of eggs and not be able to give my ds a sibling.

No you can have regular periods and still have anovulatory cycles...

Unless you have a reason to suspect something may be wrong with your eggs or egg quality I would not worry. If your doctor hasn't expressed concern you are probably fine.
While it's true that statistically it might be more difficult to conceive in your late 30's, that is not true for everyone and there are PLENTY of women who have no issues.

Your post just put me in a much better mood! Thanks sooo much!
I have low egg quality and still got PG on my own and I am 38. It just took me longer and I had testing doen with an RE and I was just about to start IVF.
