Ours brought Champagne and 2 glasses to closing for us. We drank it after when we went to the house.
My bff sellers left them the same with a really nice note wishing them the same happiness in the home that they had.

When we purchased our first home the owners left a bottle of champagne in the fridge and a really nice note wishing us luck and happiness in our new home etc etc.
When we sold that house we did the same thing for the couple that purchased it.
When we purchased our current home, I was lucky if the owner shook our hand at the closing

i got a house with a lot of aggravation from her lawyer. i was just happy we closed. we did get a gift from our real estate agent.

The day we bought our house we went to the house right after the closing & there was a card and bottle of champagne on the kitchen counter waiting for us from the seller. Thought it was very nice!
