Question: Monitor Vs O Sticks

It's been a longgggggg time since I'm on the boards, but I said to myself, eff it, just out yourself and ask.

We've been using regular O sticks, but I'm getting antsy. What does the fertility monitor do? How does it differ from digi O sticks? Where do you purchase it?

For those who dont know me, we are trying for baby #2.

Thanks!

Re: Question: Monitor Vs O Sticks

I was going to start using the monitor but I got my BFP before I got to use it but I just had a miscarriage so I plan on using it once my period comes back...anyway..

I hear very great things about the monitor. The monitor is more in tune with your body and gives you up to 6 days of fertile where as the sticks only give you a 12-48 hour period.

Re: Question: Monitor Vs O Sticks

i was using the sticks for 2 months but they didn't seem to work well for me. i didn't get the 2 lines or the smiley and i bought the good ones from the drugstore. so i bought the monitor on amazon. you still gotta pee on a stick that's designed for the monitor and stick the in the monitor to have the sticks "read." after 1-3 cycles of doing this, the monitor told me very clearly when i had high fertility and a 1-2 day reading of when i was actually ovulating. i'm in my 4th cycle of using the monitor now and so far it's worked great in terms of predicting ovulation! hope this helps Chat Icon
