Not ttc, but thought this was a good place to ask

I have regular 28 day periods. Last one started on 5/2. On Thursday 5/19, my husband and I Chat Icon. On 5/21 I started spotting and now I have what seems to be an extremely light period. At first it was just when I wiped, but now it's on the pad (sorry!)

I called my doc for an appt tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone has ever gone from regular 28 day cycles to a 21 day cycle?

I've been googling (bad idea) and it seems it could be nothing serious or pretty serious.

I guess I'm just looking for similar experiences or reassurance.

It's normal to have an "off" month every now and then. Our bodies have a way of keeping us guessing just when we need things to be in order! Chat Icon
I would say since it's so soon after Chat Icon it's not likely anything pg related. However, it can't hurt to check things out with the Dr. Do you ever spot mid-cycle?
My guess is it's just an early pd... unless you Chat Icon earlier in the month as well... around the time you would have O'd.. then it's possible that it could be implantation bleeding but that is kind of rare. And for a regular 28 day cycle, it would seem a little early for that as well. Im no doctor by my guess is an early AF Chat Icon

I agree with this. I had an off cycle where I bled 2 weeks after getting AF. I went to the OB and he said it was most likely an annovulatory cycle, and it's normal to have this once in a while.
