Names???

Do you guys have any picked out? Do you and DH agree? Do you have to follow family tradition and dont really have a choice?

I really wanted Callie but DH doesnt agree but we do agree on Kylie except he wants to spell it Kylee. No def on middle name, we keep changing that. But we also like Khloe and we keep playing around with our 4 grandmother's names. We can only put 3 together and make a few names... Leanna, leann, lilyanna.

DH wants a Jr. but, I am so against it. So we will probably use his name as the middle name.

We discuss names. We both like pretty traditional names (by today's standards).

For a boy I think we're going to do Brian Patrick Jr. We also both like the names Christopher and Sean Patrick.

For girls we like Nora, Kimberly, and Catherine. I also like the names Diana and Evelyn.


ETA: Middle name will probably be either Patrick or Patricia. My mom's middle name is Patricia and so is mine. DH's middle name is Patrick.

For a girl we love Emilia but it got taken by someone so chances are we won't use it. I really like Charlotte but who knows if it will change. For a boy we like Lucas. I like Joseph but dh isn't too crazy about it.

our names have been picked out for years. We agree we are only having 2 and then DH is getting neutered.

Yes we talked about names!!!! We want something different not the usualy traditional names. We are thinking of Lucas, Nicholas, Alex. For a girl we like Hailey, Lauren, Alyssa.

It's nice to think about these things!

We haven't talked to much yet about names, but I definitly have some that I like.
Gianna, Sophia, Grace, Olivia, Chloe, Brynn, Daniela.
If we stick with naming a boy after DH whose name is Rocco and comes from a family of Roccos, I would like my Dad's name to be the middle name...so he would be Rocco Gennaro.
But I also like Dominick, Landon, Eli, Santino, Jason.

We talk about names all the time!! So far we like:

Olivia, Grace, Natalie, Isabelle

(We have a hard time with boy names)
Anthony, Nathan, Lucas

I followed tradition with DS.....I didnt really have a choice. I mean I could have said no, but I would never.

This time, we have a girls name.....if its a girl, itll be Allison Renee. If its a boy, we dont agree on anything except Sean, which we both like, but dont love, but its the closest we've come.

We haven't really discussed it to the point where we have definite names but most names I like he hates because they're too "old" such as:

Sophia
Isabella
Madeleine
Katherine
Amelia
Eva or Ava


I am against naming our child after family members and definitely no Jr! Just a personal preference.

Well with my son, we had decided on a name pretty quick. We had two names for a girl that we couldn't agree on.
With our next baby, I have no idea. I have boy and girl names that I like, but DH and I have to agree which is not so easy.

we definitely like unique names.

there will be no naming after family members or making any juniors.

my brother is a junior. two of his siblings have his parents names.

and a lot of people in my life are juniors. it gets so confusing. i dont want to have to call for 'big jim, little jim' 'big steve little steve' etc. at my house.

... family names are okay for middle names though.
