Progesterone Levels question

Hi everyone, I am currently a week past an IUI and I had a blood test this morning for my progesterone. The office called because it is low, it's 6.7 and they want it to be 10, so I have to start suppositories tonight. I know progesterone needs to be high to help sustain a pregnancy, so I feel like this is very discouraging. I never paid attention to progesterone levels during my IVFs because I was always taking PIO shots, but now I haven't been taking anything.

Please if anyone can tell me about this I would totally appreciate it....

I am on Endometrin for progesterone 3 times a day. My levels weren't high enough in the beginning and they didnt get higher after the first week at 2 times a day so they upped it to 3 times and she said my numbers are perfect now.

with ds i had low progesterone as well at 7do iui - i think it was around 7. i was put on endometrium 2x a day and was later increased to 3x a day until i was 12 weeks.

i was on endometrin 2 times a day until I was 12 weeks. I wouldnt stress too much about it. When I found out my prog. was low it was lower than yours and I was discouraged and thought it was a big deal. They called in the suppositiories and I started taking them that day. I got preg. on that first cycle I took the progesterone. I have been off it now for just over 2 weeks and thank god evetryhitng is fine with the LO.

Thank you ladies for your replies, you helped to calm me down a lot. Just another 6 days of torture. I thought this 2WW would be so much easier then my IVF waits, but it's just as bad.
