I am doing almost all repeats this year: roma tomatoes (plant basil and marigolds near to keep bugs away) eggplant (super easy and a lot) cucumbers corn (this is my second attempt - critters got them last time) green beans (super easy) jalapeños (super easy) romaine lettuce (easy - and critters don't like )
I'm trying celery this year, b/c DS loves it
hopefully the dried blood and new mesh fence will help increase my yield!
I'm putting my strawberry in a topsy turvy this year - to deter critters.
I couldn't find watermelons this year - I'm going to try to look again - they grow easy, but picking them at the right time is hard

So far I bought everything I could find... that was already grown so to speak. Every single spice, of coarse like 4 different kinds of tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, onions. Is it too late to plant lettuce and peas and such? I didn't realize that you couldn't buy them as small plants ... but I really wanted them this year. This is the first year we are doing more then just tomatoes and cucumbers lol

How much of each plant do you plant? How many pieces per plant - ie - tomatoes, cucs, peas?
