When you get your BFP how do you plan on sharing the news with your dh?

I plan on doing it the same way he proposed to me

This is how he proposed

DH- Do you love me?
ME- Yes baby
DH- Do you really really love me?
ME- Yes I really really love you
DH-Do you love me enough to be Mrs. Booch?
ME- OMG OMG YOU'RE CRAZY!!!

I forgot to say yes.lol 10mins later I said because thatS how long I was saying OMG OMG YOU'RE CRAZY

THIS IS HOW I HOPE TO IT GOES

ME-Do you love me?
DH- Yes baby
ME- Do you really really love?
DH-Yes baby.
ME-Do you love me enough to be a PAPA BOOCH?

I have thuoght about this a million different ways. But ultimately I think I am just going to blurt it out.

Aw thats sweet. Hope you get to put your plan into place soon.

For me I think I will wait till he gets home from work and as he is cleaning up from work, i will tell him i went shopping and picked him up a few things. I wll have a store shopping bag with a baeball cap or T-shirt and also the onsie i had bought that is personalized for him.(bought the onsie 6 months ago )

I never really thought much about it but it definitely didnt happen like I would have remotely thought.

Since I wasnt expecting it, I just went screaming fromthe bathroom downstairs to our bedroom upstairs. And I am not talking about a happy screaming, I am talking about a the house is burning down panic type screamming with a pee stick in hand. DH was asleep so he was liek what the heck is going on....and I just said I'm PG and started crying.

I am a planner, but things can go awry.

I am hoping that I will be composed enough to wait a little but to tell him so that I can make the doggie t-shirts and the onsie I designed.

I created some shirts that say - "My Mommy and Daddy are having a baby" for our two dogs and I am hoping that they will greet him at the door and he will come looking for me and then I will ask him if the baby will like this - and hold up the onsie that I made that says "Mopar - or NO car!" (My DH is a HUGE Dodge guy)

Of course I will probably ruin it by starting to cry and trying to tell him through sobs and snots...

dh was asleep when I POAS so I ran into the bedroom and said "WAKE UP, THERE IS A LINE!" He was like "umm, I don't know what that means!"

I bought a little bear in DH's profession and I wanted the bear to hold stick and wake DH up. But he knew my cycle and he know when I'd be testing.. he was up before me and right there with me when it all unfolded. Yes, I planned to surprise him but I wouldn't have had it any other way.. DH and I both saw the second line and then saw "pregnant" on the clearblue. He actually dipped the clearblue into the cup It was amazing.. and I had a camera and I got him smiling.. the pic is blurry but just an amazing shot.

The first time... i woke him up and showed him the stick...

2nd time i was not home so i called him and told him i got a positive pregnancy test...

Knowing me ill probably just start crying and screaming or sit there in total shock crying till he asks me what's wrong. Crying will definitely be involved.

I plan to POAS while DH is home and for us to look at the results together!
It wouldn't seem right to do it without him there.. its our news not just my news!

Great question! I think it will depend on when I test if he's home there is no way I won't come running out of the bathroom with the news. If he's not I would definitely come up with a cute way of telling him

Last month when we tested, I POAS with FMU and then brought it into the bedroom upside down. We did the wait together and flipped it so we would see the results at the same time. For now that's what we will probably stick to (assuming I can control myself and not POAS uncontrollably!)

i use to have all the little surprises and i bought a little shirt to give to him,but when u get to the point we are at he will be right there with me waiting for that stick to have two lines

yep..two morons staring at a stick i just peed on...i doubt i will even pull my pants up

When I got PG, it was 5am when I POAS. So I ran up the stairs screaming for DH. I was like a mad woman, I scared him half to death, he came running down stairs. I met him half way and showed him.

I could never wait to tell him ASAP. Our families were a different story though.

Trust me, it probably will never go down the way you plan it I was hoping it would be on some sort of holiday and I will give DH a present with a onesie in it that said something like, "I love daddy" BUT what really happened was that I peed on a stick, I said "No ****!" waited to DH got home and handed him the pee stick. It was still emotional
