Starting my Progesterone tomorrow...
I feel very good about this cycle. We BD'd like crazy, which is a feat in itself with a 2 yr old, I had tons of EWCM and this is the same exact cycle I got preg with DD. Based on O date, my EDD would be 5 days after DD's bday. I feel like May is my month to get preg! Mothers Day and my bday are this month which may be my little bit of luck.
Anyway-- progesterone was my magic bullet with DD and hope it's the same this time. After 5 months, and it becoming apparent I need a little help, I'm ready for that BFP!
Please send some spare baby dust my way!

What does progesterone do?
Progesterone is a hormone that is produced in the 2WW-- it's basically what gives you all those symptoms. I believe if you don't get preg, levels drop-- but if you do, it rises and stays at a normal level for the duration of your pregnancy.
Some women have progesterone problems-- which causes spotting, etc. during the 2ww. For example, I have a short LP or rather-- seemingly spot (starting at 8DPO) for about a week before I get real full flow. Therefore my body doesn't even give itself time to have an egg implant. So, in taking supplements-- it just helps to regulate the hormone levels so I have the same chance as someone who doesn't have a progesterone deficiency.
