What color would do you think we should
paint the walls with this theme and honey wood furniture? light beige rug and my glider is honey wood with a light beige cushion.
I was thinking of doing 2 colors the border separating them. How about sage (from the stems) on the bottom and the beige on top? I think pink may be overwhelming.

I like the sage green, though I don't know if I'm crazy about two different colors. But that is strictly personal preference- I prefer the way two shades of the same color look- the darker one below and the ligher one above.

I like the chair rail. I think Green would look beautiful! Do you want to do 2 colors? with the chair rail in the middle? If so, I would say very light pink on top and sage green on the bottom. Good Luck! Beautiful set!

Hm, I wonder which one will be easier. I love that border, and I like borders in general. I guess the thing to consider is, if you have another baby and it's a boy, will he use that room or get another one? If he'd use that room, the chair rail might be better. Border is a PITA to remove, though I guess you could also slap one on over it.

we are doing two colors but two purples for our nusery (they are two levels apart, a lighter version above the chair rail and a darker one below it....) - I love sage green.....you could do two versions of it....if you go to a benjamin moore store, they can even help you mix percents of the colors you choose for a subtle change.....

I agree - sage and light pink. We did Katie's room like that with white chair rail in the middle and I love it.

I have another room if we have another baby, so this room will stay hers.
I only hesitate with the chair rail b/c shouldn't the wood match the furniture?

The room that will be the babies room is currently a light brown. I actually love the bedding you got and want it for a girl it would go perfectly with the wall color we have. I will have to find out the name of the color for you.
