Cough Drops
Are we allowed to have these?  I just had one and didnt even think about it!

I had a few Ricolas a few weeks ago and didn't even think about it and them my friend told me it was a no no!
I think only Vitamin C drops are safe. I guess read the ingredients?

My doctor said it's ok but the pharmacist said no. The pharmacist said to stick with Halls Vitamin C Drops. I had one and it didn't do much at all so for me it wasn't really worth chancing it again.

I'm not sure about menthol. I wouldn't eat another one to be safe. (It's hard for me to imagine what a little cough drop could do, but I guess it's better safe than sorry!)
My allergies were killing me a few weeks ago, that's why I needed the cough drops... so I just drank a ton of water. Maybe that'll help you too. Feel better!

I'm sure one cough drop is okay, but my doc told me not to use the ones with menthol. So just put the rest of the bag away for the next few months. (It's hard, I know - I'm a fellow allergy sufferer!)

Thank you. Its so hard to believe all the little things that change when youre pregnant. I mean I never would have thought a cough drop! It just didnt occur to me. Good to know!
