Uhh Ohhhh

So i decided it was prob time that i take my wedding rings off! Well im guessing it prob should have been time a little earlier! Cuz i can't get them off!!!!

I tried in the shower this morning...wont budge...soap, didnt work, lotion, ran my finger under cold water, even tried the windex trick!

maybe i shouldnt have tried all those methods one right after another, but im really nervous these rings are not coming off!

my problems is my knuckles!!! on my finger they feel fine they still spin, and thats why i waited so long and didnt think i had anything to worry about! but my damn knuckles are are huge and it won't go past them!!

Are they going to have to cut my rings off!!!! i dont know what i would do! I can cry right now!

I look kinda young so i wanted to keep them on so i didnt wanna look like i should be on an episode of teen mom!!

now my finger hurts! any other suggestions on how to get them off???

i found mine were tighter in the AM than in the PM. so maybe the swelling will go down in the afternoon and you can wiggle them off. good luck!!!

Awww don't cry, If they can still spin around then you're fine. If you still want to take them off, I would try again tonight after work. Maybe ice your hand first?

im in the same boat as you, i want to keep them on as long as possible because i feel that i look young and dont want to look like a "teen mom" either lol.

sometimes i try to take them off through out the day just to be sure they arent too tight and like another poster said, try in the evening if you tried in the am already.

i would re-try some of your methods but one at a time that way your finger isnt all red and irritated and swells more. i would try super cold water and then maybe some lotion

try it again later... put your hand in a bowl of ice water first, it helps!

I would try when you haven't been running around all day, either when you first get up or at night after you've relaxed a while. And don't leave your hand hanging so that the blood rushes to your fingers.

same thing happened to me but after i had . i rushed to put them back on and they got stuck. i was thisclose to going to my jeweler to get them cut off but i called her before i went in. she told me that if they don't hurt and aren't cutting off blood flow to my finger to keep them on for a few days to let the swelling go down. when you're ready to attempt again, do it after a shower, in the evening, use windex and keep your hand and arm raised up with your fingers pointing to the ceiling.

my ering came off first about a week after this phone call and my wedding band came off about 2 weeks after that.

don't worry, they will come off!!!

run your hands under freezing cold water for a few minutes then try!
