Kings Market?
Anyone been to Kings Market in Garden City? Is it worth stopping by there if I am in the area? How are the prices? Im looking for alternatives to waldbaums, pathmark, stop and shop, etc. Thanks!

VERY expensive.
I went once for something quick. Never again.
If you want a tiny bit less expensive, go to Whole Foods in Jericho, or Fairway in Plainview.

I love fairway - thats my favorite place to go. Im just in the mineola/Garden City area often so I thought I'd ask about it. Im surprised it is more than whole foods! I read something about it having good prices - but if whole foods is less, I'd rather make the trip there.

I always used to shop there. I like that store alot but it's not a cheap store by any means. It is also very small. Also note...their roasted chickens are great.

Their prepared foods and salad bar are great and worth it IMO. But definitely not for regular groceries.
