I find Waldbaums generally has the best prices for the things I buy.

I go to Key Food in Floral Park...I know they are expensive ....but it is just so clean..

King Kullens prices are INSANE. They are literally sometimes up to $2.00 an item more.
I am a coupon geek and frugal shopper.
Without a doubt the cheapest stores on LI are Shoprite and Waldbaums. At least in my area ( southshore)...prices flucuate more in different areas. Lately King Kullens fruits and veggie prices ahve been unbeatable, I will go there a lot, and they often put their organic or natural produce on managers special for super cheap a day or two before the sell by date and I will get some meat to freeze for next to nothing, but thats about all I will buy there. Pathmark now carries same brands as Waldbaums ( came company) and last week I went to both and found Pathmark had jacked their prices up on a lot of things, it was weird.
I can usually get at shoprite double or triple the food then King Kullen.

I go to Stop & Shop primarily out of laziness because it's a stone's throw from my house.
Their prices fluctuate so much though.
I also will by the basics at Target on the weeks I don't do a larger grocery shop.
I like Trader Joes' but there's not one near my house. I also could end up spending so much more on crap and prepared foods there vs. the regular grocery store.

Pathmark is lowest IMO but the nearby one is so dirty and gross and the parking lot is horrendous.
ShopRite has really low prices too but its too far away.
I shop at Stop and Shop and love it! It's new, clean, great parking lot, helpful employees. They double my coupons and have good sales.

I prefer Stop & Shop, but dh makes sure we go to Shoprite because he feels they have the best prices...although he might stop in any one of the stores in your poll to pick somethings up if he sees good sales.
