I tested between 9 and 10 DPO and got a BFP.
but it's really up to you. Some like to wait until at least 12 DPO and other's not until AF is due or late!
8 DPO could be slightly too early. If you get down and disappointed with BFN's then I would wait at least a few more days.
I tested early because i wanted to drink that night and needed to know if I could indeed drink it up!

I agree with the PP. Testing at 8DPO could lead to major disappointment. I would wait until the earliest 10DPO but if you could hold out for a few days past that even better. I tested at 10DPO with a cheapie, FRER and a digital and got my BFP but each girl is different.

Hold out as long as you can! I used to get so annoyed when people told me this but I tested at 10 dpo and got a BFN and it was really upsetting. At 12dpo I got a very, very faint second line.

I got my super faint BFP at 9dpo. However, it took me and a team of girlfriends to decide whether we were seeing things or not. It was definitely confirmed the next morning. 9dpo is definitely NOT the norm, but possible.

Both times I got a BFP I saw a faint line at 9DPO.
However, there are a lot of women who aren't able to see even a faint line until much later like 12 or 13DPO.
So basically, try to hold out as long as you can so you aren't disappointed.

It up to you. I personally wait until AF is 1 day late. Which in mine case, i havent tested yet during this whole process. i am hoping this month is different.

Try to hold out as long as you can. At the earliest I would test around 10 or 11DPO to prevent dissappointment. If you can wait until AF is due or late even better.

I was able to get a positive test at 8dpo... but i was using internet cheapies so i wasnt worried about wasting tests... i youre not using them i wouldnt bother testing until at least 11 or 12 DPO
