Wish People Would Just STFU....
Just got off the phone with a friend I havent spoken to in a couple of weeks. I shared with her that our last IVF didnt work since she made a comment that I was not my chipper self. Her response..."Oh, is that all? By your tone I thought there was actually something wrong." When I told her what she said hurt my feelings, she just blew it off with one of those wishy washy...you know what I meant....you should be lucky you have one...think how those people with none feel.... Basically I felt like saying, Yeah...you should have just quit while you were ahead. Instead I just rushed her off the phone...AF is still here full force after 6 days and I am just in no mood....

I can't believe some people 
My friends haven't started having kids yet so they don't understand my fustration at all, even though I am 30 without any children yet. All they say is, don't worry your life is OVER once your pregnant so enjoy your time now People need to shut it!!

some people will just never get it. but you would think if you told her she hurt your feelings, she would feel bad and apologize instead of trying to rationalize what she said

People drive me crazy.
I was talking to one of my very good friends about two weeks ago right after my third IVF failed and my Grandmother had just passed away. When I told her the third cycle failed, her response was a chipper "Oh, that's okay."
I've decided I can never talk to her about anything connected to IF ever again. The conversation got even worse. I explained that we really don't have the money to continue and then she asked if my grandmother's passing improved my financial situation. Talk about a moron.
I was livid by the time I hung up with her.
Certain people will never understand. I just think we need to know who we can confide in.

People not only don't understand, I think sometimes they lack compassion. I too have had a friend tell me "oh well keep going for the next time" or "you just have to relax and it will happen" as if were that simple. During my IF journey I found myself closing up to a few of my friends

very rude. sorry. I don't know where people get off letting the BS fly out of their mouth like that. you can only hope they never know what it's like on the other side!

Some people have no clue. I'd say maybe she just doesn't know how to react to it but she still stuck her foot in her mouth when you told her she hurt you. I'm sorry.
I just don't offer up info and stay vague with some people. I get people who IM me asking how things are going and I think they actually give a carp but then when I tell them what's going on they don't reply... crickets !?
