When is your 1st trimester officially over?
So confused. I'm 12 weeks today. I know I have to get thru this week but I thought the start of the 13th week was the start of the 2nd trimester/end of the 1st tri. Now I read something that says the start of the 14th week is the start of the 2nd tri.

Start of the 14th week is considered 2nd tri.
40/3 = 13.3...so after you complete 13 weeks you are considered in your second trimester.

it's weird bc pregnology counts the start of your 13th week as the 2nd trimester. And, at my dr appt yesterday at 13w0d they said congrats on making it to the 2nd trimester!

I always considered it the end of the 12th week too.
