Q of The Day 5/3
Lets talk religion-
Do you and DH belong to a church, Synegoue or other religious parish?
Will you have your child christened, baptized or other blessing ceremony?
Do you plan on having "God Parents" Sponsors? Who would they be?

We belong to a church

We will have the baby christened
Do you plan on having "God Parents" Sponsors? Who would they be?
We have 2 friends that we have thought of that would make great role models for our child to be. They are both very different but great people!

Not bad at all! DH and I were talking about our friendships and such and I said friend XXXX would make a really good parent and he said so would his friend XXXX. Next thing you know we are talking about god parents when we have children. LOL

Church, baptised, if its a girl it'll be my sister and DH's best friend if its a boy it'll be my besyt friend and brother. We have to split it bc I'm Catholic and my siblings are Luthern.

We belong to a Church but we are "bad" Catholics and never go.
We will def have the babies baptized
We already decided that BIL and my SIL (who I consider to be a sister) will be the Godparents.

We were both raised catholic, though I no longer believe in catholocism.
Do not belong to a church, but will m/l have our dc christened in his parents church. Unless I can find a really interesting blessing ceremony that can be done outside. Maybe by our officient who married us. Not sure, that might be too unusual for his fam.
Godparents will be DHs lil sister who I'm very close with, and his BFF. Runners up/godparents for #2 will be DHs big sister and her DH. We are the godparents of their DD.

We belong to a church and attend mass regularly. We will definitely be having our LO baptised and they will have Godparents.

I am Catholic and DH is Episcopal. I dont go to church often but do consider myself religious. DH is not religious at all. We actually had this discussion about being baptized even before we got engaged. I could not imagine not having my child baptized. We will bring up our child Roman Catholic and have our child baptized. My twin sister will defnitly be the godmother. Since DH brother is also Episcopal, I would like my brother in law to be godfather. We havent gotten that far yet! lol

Def my sister, I'm not sure about his brother tho...not the best role model. Contemplated my bil and using the excuse that it's bc he's catholic too and bil is jewish

DH was raised Catholic but doesn't practice. I was raised Catholic and Jewish but not at all religious.
We haven't discussed it too much (isn't that bad? haha) but I don't believe we will be baptizing or doing any sort of religious celebration with our child(ren).

I don't go to church regularly and when I do, I go to the nearest one to me.
I would like to baptize my future children
Yes, I will have godparents for them.
ETA: The godparents will be my siblings (since my bff is flaky)
