need some ideas before my next cycle.... ty

i need to wait another month bc i will be out of town in the middle of my cycle next month.
sooo we wont be trying till june now .

besides acupuncture...which i love but have no extra money..what would you suggest?
i have low ovarian reserve and high high fsh. my mc was march 11 and got my af after 30 days so that is good.

just wondering what you might do at home..ie vitamins/teas etc that might help me get more than one egg or two a cycle. ty v much!!

Well I can't coment about the low OR but in general for fertility with acupuncture, I have drank "special" teas and by special I mean really smelly and gross! You get used to it if it means helping your body balance hormonally, emotionally and physically. I also started meditation to help with stress, grief and pregnancy loss, etc. It was mentioned on here, google Anji.

Well i have high fsh so i'd love to see what others say who have been down this road before. So unfortunately i cannot offer much advice since i'm just starting.

have you tried wheatgrass?

There were periods of time when I took wheatgrass for years, I wasn't TTC but I can say it made me feel awesome and I didn't get sick one time on it!

I highly suggest for anyone who wants to be healthy. DEFINITELY the fresh liquid is the BEST, and it absolutely HAS to be organic.

You start with one ounce in the am on an empty stomach, it tastes exactly like fresh cut grass smells. Eventually you build to two ounces in the am.

Think of it this way, a cow is super big and strong and only eats grass, well it is because cows have two stomachs so they can break down the grass and get the nutrients. Since we don't have two stomachs we need it to be juiced to properly absorb it.

Also grass is basically chlorophyll, which if you read up on it is actually very similar to blood! So almost think of it as a blood drink for your body.

A lot of people I know have used it during chemo as it build your immune system and reverses some of the side effects.

I can't comment on it relating directly to TTC but in the years I took it every day it made me feel a million times better, energy and pep in my step. In a bind use the frozen ounces, but definitely try to get fresh as much as possible.

How do you get it fresh? I was interested too since I heard this can lower your FSH but I can't go buy it from a juice place daily...Where do you buy it, do you need a juicer?

Wheatgrass- try the frozen shots...can get them at a healthfood store....lowers FSH.

CO-Q10- at least 600 mg a day...take some in the Ubiquinol form...increases egg quality

I take the melatonin/inositol when doing an IVF cycle...can also be used outside of IVF cycle...the IVF cycle that I did this combo gave me amazing results in terms of embie quality...look for the studies on it...double the success rates with IVF....there are also some studies that suggest that it may have a contraceptive effect in rats....so do your own research before using.

Vitamin D...lack thereof shown as a link to infertility..I take 2,000 units a day

If you want to juice the wheatgrass yourself you buy a tray of it grown from the health food store, like $12-$20 about.

Then you buy a special wheatgrass juice juicer, it is very old fashioned looking and cranks out the grass.

Or you can buy it juiced already from a health food store like wild by nature, I am sure there are tons of other places to. Also some places do home deliveries in the am. An ounce can be probably around $2.50-$4.

My brother actually got me a juicer as my bridal shower present and I haven't used it, but probably should!

ETA - Frozen is good enough and better than nothing. But fresh is best. Think about fresh squeezed OJ compared to frozen.
