Any advice on how to minimize IVF bruising
Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to minimize bruising from IVF injections. This is my 4th IVF and for some reason Im bruising more this time then any of the other times. I joked to my husband that at the rate Im going I can make a smiley face around my belly button in black and blues. I was doing great and then the ganirelix started me off. Tonight will be my 3rd night on stims. I think the lovenox gave me the biggest bruise and for now Im only on that till Tuesday.

i ice before injects. it helps sometimes. but i find that the amount the i bruise is sooo random. sometimes ill bruise really bad for a few weeks, and sometimes i can go a month without bruising. i think its just hormonal. good luck!

Thanks! I actually didn't bruise this much today when I did the lovenox. I think I iced it longer and went really slow today.
