Bridal Shower Food Help

My mom and I are throwing my sister her bridal shower at home. We are doing a "high tea" theme. People are asked for 12 noon, so it will be a lunch time meal.

Here's what we have so far:
Finger sandwiches: egg salad, ham, cucumber, etc.
Quiche?
Scones/Soda bread/biscuits
Tea/Coffee/Soda/Wine/Beer

Dessert will be the cake and some of the scones will be "sweet."

Any other ideas? All the food doesn't have to fit into the theme, so what appetizers or other finger foods and desserts would you include?

There will be about 30-40 people there.

I like sticking with the theme so other tea sandwiches you can do:
-chicken salad
-mozz with sundried tomatoes and basil
-cucumbers and brie

i like the idea of a quiche

muffins are more popular than scones in my experience

i think you should add a fruit platter, either assorted fresh fruit as an appetizer or with the meal, or chocolate covered strawberries for dessert at the end of the meal

Maybe a cold pasta salad of some sort and some kind of fruit platter.

fruit kebabs

I just went to one at noon, and besides multiple quiches and chicken salad sandwiches, they had green salad, fruit salad and french toast casserole.

Champagne is a common tea thing too... maybe bellini's! Just get some fun juice flavors to mix in the champagne!
