Chemical Pregnancy?
So it turns out my BFP turned into a Chemical Pregnancy How quickly life turns on you, but I'm not giving up. Went to OB last Friday and my numbers were really good, she had me go back on Monday and they significantly dropped, so she actually gave me a heads up that I would start bleeding within the next 24 hours. Not that there is any way to prepare for this, but I guess it was easier to expect it than for it to just happen.
Anyway, I was just wondering for those who have been through this how long it took for the bleeding to stop. I'm ready for this to be over already

Re: Chemical Pregnancy?
I'm sorry. I went through that back in March. For me, the bleeding was like a regular period. The cramping might have been a little more intense, but nothing significant. If I hadn't taken an early HPT I would have just assumed I had gotten AF.
Sorry again.

Re: Chemical Pregnancy?
Thanks for all of the support ladies. Although it all happened so quickly, it still really hurts. My mom and DH have been really supportive, but all in all in just s*cks. Lately I've been thinking about everything I did last week physically that maybe I shouldn't have so early on.

Ok, seriously, stop thinking like that! You couldn't possible have done ANYTHING that caused this. It happens. It was so early, and unfortunately it is not uncommon, even if it still hurts like a b**** just the same.
When I started letting myself think that way I reminded myself that there are junkie prostitutes who manage to get and stay pregnant. So my bike ride, or extra cup of coffee, or having sex with DH, or WHATEVER did not make me miscarry.
ETA - Not only did you not do ANYTHING to bring this on, but it doesn't mean that because it happened once that it will happen again. I'm sure you will go on to have a happy, successful pregnancy very soon!

Re: Chemical Pregnancy?
im so sorry for your loss
I had a chemical in December. I was just 5 weeks when i started bleeding. Initially, the cramping and bleeding was worse (for about 1/2 the day) and then it was a normal AF.

Re: Chemical Pregnancy?
I am SO sorry
I had a chemical in March. The bleeding was really only for 1-2 days for me, but I got very sick for 1 day (chills, weak, vomiting, etc.), however that does NOT seem to be the norm.
Please don't think it's anything you did. I thought the exact same thing. There's nothing you could have/should have done, it just s*cks with a capital S.
Feel free to FM me for support or anything you might have questions about/want to talk about.

I had 3 days of spotting followed by 6 days of bleeding then 1 more of spotting. So sorry you're going through this. It's such an emotional rollercoaster.

When I had a chemical it was just like a normal AF.
However..... I wasn't pregnant for more than like a day. My beta was 15 and I started spotting on 12dpo.

Re: Chemical Pregnancy?
U girls are truly an amazing support. Deep down I know it was not meant to be this time around. But it's hard not to think about everything I did last week, in addition to exercise I happened to fall really bad in the shower before I got my BFP plus we had a fire drill at work and we were forced to wAlk down 36 flights of stairs. Can't help but wonder what if. But thank you to all of u for ur thoughts.

Re: Chemical Pregnancy?
I believe I had one once, and I bled heavier than usual and was in extreme pain but it lasted as long as a normal period (5 to 7 days)
