How do you get it off?
soak cotton balls in acetone and lay one on each finger and wrap each finger in aluminum foil.. let it sit for 10 minutes and then remove with a cuticle pusher.. ;)

Does the pure acetone ruin your nails at all?
I know everyone says the shellac doesn't ruin them, but I worry about the acetone.

Yes. With repeated use, your nails will become very brittle because the acetone is so drying. I got it once, and my nails were a mess after I took it off (but I have horrible nails to begin with).

you're soaking it for 10 minutes and remember that the shellac usually lasts 2-3 weeks so it's not like you're doing it every day or every few days.. kwim?
