How do you answer people when.....
they hint around or plainly ask if you are TTC or when you are starting?
My neighbor asked me today if I had any baby news to report yet and I just said no. The only ones that know we are trying are my mom and sister. So how do you answer people when they ask:
If we have started trying and
If we have any news when you don't want people to know you are trying?

I lie!!!
I just feel that it's not anyone elses business. I'm not offended that they are asking, but any response other than telling them we are not TTC would put us on the "watch list". I don't need that kind of pressure.

me too. I just say no not yet-when they ask if we are going to have kids soon? Or if we are trying? I have been saying it so much lately that when we do get our BFP(hopefully this month) I think people are going to think it was a mistake

I either say we are going to wait and see what happens or we aren't not trying. But thankfully no one has been pushy about it yet. Only dh's uncle a month after our wedding.

Yes, this usually shuts them up. I think it's so rude when people ask now-a-days with so many people having fertility issues or just waiting til they are settled to TTC. Not everyone is TTC on their honeymoon.
