I don't want anyone in there but my DH and the workers that have to be there.
My baby, my vagina, my decision!!!!
You should have a talk with her. If she still doesn't understand... then you go into labor and call her AFTER the fact. then it's too late for her to come into the room!!
I swear that's exactly what I would do!!
 love it! Thats exactly what I'd do...and Im very close with my mom...but NO WAY do I want her or anyone but DH involved in the birth of my child!!!

haha and then her comment to DH of "oh you think so"... changes to DH KNOWING so!! haha!!
and to answer OP 2nd question About if we are having anyone in the room: NO WAY! I want no one in the room but DH. It's my vagina and my goods spread all over the place. I'm expecting a bloody mess and if I didn't have to be there for it I wouldn't!!!!

my mom said the same thing from the beginning. but my husband is ok with it bc he is so afraid of seeing something in the room that he doesn't want to see that he really doesn't want to be too involved. I'm a little wishy washy though because she said she wants to videotape it...and as much as i'd love to see my baby's birth...i don't want her all up in my hoo-ha

if you truly don't want your mother in the delivery room with you, tell her now!
I am having my mother & DH with me. My mom and I are VERY close. She has been coming to every single doctor and sonogram appointment with me so of course she will be in the delivery room with me!! and DH agrees cuz he passes out with the sight of blood so ill need my mom incase he passes out.

Why does she even need to know when you ARE in the delivery room? I'd just call later. That way she doesn't even know you're in there.

Let her say it. Dont stress out. When the day comes, tell the nurse you want no one but dh in the room. They can be mean for you if you cant.

She is so stubborn and now I have to find a way to tell her that this is between my husband and I.
I would talk to her about it now. The more time she has to accept it the better.
If she still insists on it I would have another conversation with her. Tell her she needs to accept your decision because you don't want to have to call AFTER the baby is born to avoid a scene at the hospital. But you will if she keeps insisting.
