Thursday QOTD

Do you have any toys packed away from your childhood that you plan to bring back out for your child to play with?

We had a set of Sesame Street Die Cast cars that we saved, they came in a yellow school bus carrying case and DS (and my nephew) now plays with them. As well as that old wooden fisher-price dog that you pulled along on his wheels, with a little spring for a tails.

There is also a set of wooden blocks that my grandfather who passed away when I was 9, made for my sister and I that is now at my mothers house and both of our boys play with them. Its my favorite thing EVER!

Not really Chat Icon . At least not any that I can think of. Maybe at my parent's house I'll find some stuff.

We do have some family heirlooms, like a bassinet, rocking chair, etc. But not too many toys.

ETS - Great question!

No...I was hard on toys growing upChat Icon
I have a remote control HUMMER from my late teens and I refuse to let anyone play with it.
DH has a ton of baseball & basketball cards he's itching to pass on.

No, not from my childhood, but I'm a huge Lion King fan and have been saving stuff from 1994!! I have a few tubs of all kinds of stuff to decorate a child's room. I'm hoping I will get to use it soon. I also have a few disney's mini story books I've been saving.

we have tons of gi joes and he-man stuff in the attic. i probably could go through it and sell it on ebay!! honestly, i'd rather buy new toys for my LOs since mine have been in a stuffy attic for 20 years!
