another birthday cake this week... iPad
Told you it was a busy week for birthdays in my family! Just finished this iPad cake for my dad. I handpainted the wallpaper with food coloring and hand-cut the icons.... overall I think he'll like it! :) Thanks for looking!

I took one of those 4 session AC Moore classes last summer just to learn how to roll out fondant pretty much.... that was it and now I am just having fun playing on my own :0)

WOW! This REALLY makes me wanna go take the class. I took the basics one this past summer. These cakes are amazing!

Sorry if my response was misleading... The class literally just taught you how to knead and roll out fondant to cover a cake - not how to do anything super fancy really. But, it was enough to get me interested in trying things on my own 
I really just play around with all of the modeling/painting... it's almost like working with clay
I'm working on DH's secret one right now.... stay tuned this weekend for another
