Sperm question....

Its OK, I know I find something new to be concerned about everyday....I can laugh at myself.

We BDd for like 8 days before my + OPK bc I O'd late. I was expecting to O like 2 or 3 days after the BDing started.

So by the time I Od, I was on BD days 7&8.

DH has no sperm issues, but are your chances lessened if it isnt some of the first days of BDing that you O?

Is the quality or quantity less as the time goes on or just the "fluid"?

I guess what Im wondering is was DH sperm running on empty by then even if he "finishes" and we used up the good stuff too early?

Ive heard such mixed things on this and was wondering if anyone knew for sure?

I *think* if your DH has no sperm issues you can BD just about everyday and be alright. Its only if there is a sperm issue that you should do it every other day and not every day. You should be alright. Men build up sperm quite quickly

I worry about this too.

The past two cycles we had a lot of sex before :) during :) and after :).

This try we did it 6 times in 8 days during my fertile time/Deanna's Plan.

If I don't get pregnant I think we are going to try having less sex during my fertile time next month. That is actually what worked when I got pregnant on the first try. We had sex 2-3 times per week not knowing whether I was fertile or not. We just had normal sex without protection and I got pregnant.

I'm not sure if we're trying too hard? If I don't get pregnant this cycle I'm going to be frustrated. It's ironic that it happened easily without trying and now that we know when I'm fertile and we are having more sex nothing. I still have a few more days left until the fat lady sings but my gut tells me I'm out.

I'm thinking maybe my DH's sperm need a break? Less frequent sex might be better for him?
