Amnio is all good!
What a tough 7 weeks it has been for us! Bordering on torture!
I had the CVS and 5/20 cells can back with an extra chromosome. The Drs. were very reassuring and told us that it is very common for the placenta to have abnormal chromosomes and not the baby (more likely than not)
I had a full anatomy scan (2 times - they wanted to use a new machine and I was their guinea pig) and they were very reassured
They stilll recommended the amnio since we would have to test the baby after birth anyway and we could find out sooner with the amnio.
The CVS results came in 9 days...so 9 days passed with the amnio and I started getting nervous. We are on day 13 and found out everything is perfectly normal!
I wouldn't change a thing about testing, b/c I had just a sinking feeling (paranoia) and I wanted to know sooner than at birth. I guess mother's intuition can be WRONG!!! And now I can enjoy the next 18-19 weeks worry free!!
Thanks for listening/reading. I started breaking this week waiting for the results and am so happy to have good news!

That is wonderful! So glad for you. I also had the amnio done, but because the babies position was not ideal for the CVS. Everything is great here too
