Stretch Marks

My belly looks like a railroad track. It's so horrible. I am only 23 weeks. I can't imagine what it is going to look like when I get further along .

Sorry ladies, but I am feeling horrible about myself. And everyone saying how big I am getting is not helping . Must people tell me every Monday "Wow, you really grew over the weekend." It's like...give me a break already. I'm not THAT big for someone who is 23 weeks.

ETS: People make it out like I can't fit through the door or something. I don't get it.

i hate when people do that - it drives me crazy!! i have a lot of days when i feel like that too and i just look at a sono pic. to remind me why i look the way i do.

just keep reminding yourself that it is all worth it in the end when the little peanut is born!!!

I feel your pain. I have the grossest stretch marks. And unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it because those creams don't work. Just think of it as wonderful proof that you will soon be a mommy!!!!

i have people telling me i am going to have a BIG baby because I am HUGE . I am two months away from giving birth, what do they expect !

Steph, I'm sorry that people are so stupid and make such DUMB comments towards you ..

I wish I had a great comeback that would make them all SHUDDUP once and for all, but it seems that so many people are thick and just don't 'get it'

As for the stretch marks - try not to worry about it sweetie. I truly feel that stretch marks are just hereditary and that you are going to get them no matter if you get a big belly , a small belly, or whatever - it's not because you are 'too big' like people are insinuating Luckily I haven't gotten any on my belly (YET!) but they do run in my family and I have some on my boobs (in my case they just got TOO big too fast and keep growing!) So I do feel your pain somewhat

I HATE people!! You know what you can say when someone tells you how big you are??? You can "I am pg, now what is your excuse" That should shut them up and I am sure that you are absolutely beautiful!!!

I am so sorry people have to be so insensitive-they wouldn't make these comments to a man if he gained weight but to woman giving birth I guess everything is fair game. I don't understand.

I am sorry about the stretch marks But I hear they fad/grow a lot lighter after the baby is born. These are your battle scars to prove what a great mommy you are going to be. Small consolation, I know

My friend has been rubbing cocoa butter on her belly since day one.........and its def. doing its job.

OK, take it from someone who got HORRIBLE stretch marks in the last TWO freaking weeks of pregnancy, they will go away.
Ok, that's a lie. They won't go away, but you won't be able to notice them as much. I promise. My stomach is still jiggly and all, but I'm surprised at how good it looks in terms of my stretch marks. They're not really noticeable anymore.
My mom had horrible stretch marks from my sister, and she showed me her stomach the other day and I couldn't see them, so it does get better. I know it still sux now, but try not to worry

when you girls say "stretch marks" do they have to be red or can they be white...I have these white stretch marks coming forth on my sides and lower belly...If they turn red....I am gonna have to break out the white out! The books show these bloody red marks...looks like it hurts!
