my DD is 11 months. Right now she is very easy. If this was 6 months from now, I might be singing a different tune

My DD is 9 months and I just got a BFP yesterday for #2. DD will be 18 months when he/she arrives.

We are and DS in 3.5. Several times we were going to go for it and then we pushed it back bc the toddler years were KILLER. Now that DS is exiting the terrible 3s which are WAY worse than two IMO, we are finally in a place where we could juggle two kids without losing our patience or minds!

Re: ladies TTC for #2
My DD is just over two-- and I feel like I still have a newborn with her sleeping habits. I honestly feel it's now or never, so I can get back to sleeping like a normal person quicker. I'm ready, but also super nervous. She is the light of my life.

I understand how you feel Gabbie! DS is 19 months. If we had gotten pregnant when we starting TTC we would already have another one I guess it's a good thing I didn't get pregnant right away because there is no way I can imagine having a NB right now!

Re: ladies TTC for #2
We started TTC for #2 when DD was 20 months. I felt ready but was also nervous. Now she is almost 3 and we're still not pregnant (got pregnant but m/c last summer). She is soooo ready to be a big sister and asks for a baby all of the time. She is so good with friend's babies and I wish I could give her a sibling!! The baby I lost was due a few weeks ago and that would have been perfect timing. At this point, they'll be at least 3.5 yrs apart. I'm trying to focus on how helpful she'll be with a baby at that age (or older) and not feel too sad about not having a sibling for her now.

Re: ladies TTC for #2
We started after Ds turned 1 he is now 20 months granted he is still a baby and I know it would be easier if he was older its driving me nuts that's it's not happening for us! The dr said we would discuss other options after a year I'm hoping not to have to have that talk but 4 more months doesn't seem out of grasp
