window valances - need opinion

this is the window valance i want to buy for our little girl's room
valance

we painted the walls an iced lavendar, so i was thinking of getting the valance in white so it stands out from the walls. but the blinds we have up on the windows are white and DH thinks it's gonna blend in too much. he suggested getting it in pink. i think i still want white.

which color do you think will look better? pink or white? there's really not gonna be much pink in her room.

I love those, and I'm debating getting the same thing in white. The nursery is pale yellow with white ceiling, trim, and wood floors, white furniture.

I would say go with white since its more neutral with the lavender. No matter what bedding you might change it too later!

What color is the bedding? I would match it to that to give the window some color, cause it may be too much white.

I agree on the bedding. If there isn't any pink in it then do white, but if there is do pink. Emmy's new room is Wisteria(purple) and she has a pink breathable bumper and pink gingham curtains. It looks so freaking cuteChat Icon I'll post pics soon

the bedding doesnt have any pink in it. it's a light lavender too with flowers on one side and white/lavender stripes on the other side. so i dont want to do a purple valance cause i think it'll be too much purple. i keep leaning towards the white cause i think it'll look "clean" and i dont want to be too matchy matchy.

Well what color is the furniture? Maybe get wooden blinds if it's a wood color, or a tan colored Valance just so it's not so white.
