Update on me...
So after my BFP I called the dr and they fit me in BUT when I gave my urin it came back negative! The dr said it's super early and since it wasn't fmu it was probably diluted being that it also was 9 dpo the dr thought I was nuts for even testing! I ran out to the dollar tree after and picked up a ton of tests Which half I took the same night ( last night) all BFN . My doc knows how crazy I can be and told me specifically not to do anything until Monday. I haven't tested today at all and not planning to. I have to go monday for bloodwork if infact I am late with AF! Is thier such thing as a false positive?? The line came up right away but I've been googling and you know that's the devil  because it was a blue dye test and I've read bad things!!! I'm a wreck over here!!!

Oh no I honestly do not have an answer to your question however, blue dye test, like you said, are indeed the devil I sure hope it was just a fluke

Just wanted to give you tons of  . Dont stress about this. It is what it is and on Mon you will have more of an answer. I am not familiar with the tests so i can not offer you any advice on that. Just stay postive.

what test did you use?... the only way to get a false positive is if youre taking an antibiotic with hcg in it...

Yes but it was the only one I did with fmu it was a drugstore brand ( Harmon) the other ones were dollar tree tests but when I looked on the box it only tracks the day of your missed period it said at least 50 iu? So I figured at 9 dpo it would only show up with fmu. I'm too nervous to test again I'm waiting this one out. When I took the Harmon test it came up positive within seconds as soon as it passed throughout the window I'm totally confused

this is why testing early is not a good idea. im surprised though that your doctor did not run blood immediately. if there is any question you should def get a beta. good luck!!!

Yes wednesday was 9 dpo or cd 25 I drank so much water before I went bc I knew I had to give pee sample. It was so diluted it was clear. I am probably making excuses as too why the dr test came back neg But I still haven't tested since wed evening I am terrified I can only hope that my hcg level would only show in fmu bc it was extremely early.

I know it will be tough, but don't make yourself crazy the next few days. It is best to let the dr test so you will know for sure. Good luck!

it is still very early! false positives are not very common, but it is possible. when i test early, i always use FRER. hang in there and test again when you are late.

not necessarily..
i got a false positive on a digital test once, beta confirmed bfn. it wasn't a chemical either.. just a stupid false positive
to the OP. It's the hardest thing ever, but the best thing to do is wait until Monday when you can have your beta done. All that testing and potential results will drive you nuts this weekend... trust me!

50 miu is not a sensitive test... and you probably wouldn't have 50 miu in your urine at 9dpo. so if that's the test that's giving you a negative.. i'm not surprised.
