Worst... pain... ever... Can you help me figure this out?
OMG... I can only assume this pain is all related to my UTI???
I woke up at 3am CRYING and not being able to move.
I have pain in my right lower back...but the WORST is on my right side about 3 inches below my shoulder blade. Does anyone know what is there???? I can't tell if it's my lat muscle, or hopefully not some organ.
I wish I knew where my kidneys, bladder and liver actually were. Can anyone explain this to me? Can anything be out of place with the baby growing at 20 weeks? The lower pain I kind of understand with the UTI, but this UPPER LAT pain is the MOST excruciating. I really almost went to the E.R. last night! (fyi... after seeing doc yesterday, I start my second day of UTI medicine today).

Are you on antibiotics? When i had a UTI they always asked me if i had flank pain, which would be in the general area you talking about, i had pain there on my honeymoon  , turns out o had a non-symptomatic UTI that turned into a kidney infection. Maybe it's radiating pain....i can't think of what else it might be, maybe call the OB if you haven't already, you shouldn't be in that much pain...

I felt that pain when my uti spread to my kidneys. Give ur ob a call. He might just keep same treatment

If you have a uti and are having pain in the spot you described, your kidney is in that area and I'd be really concerned that the infection traveled up into your kidney. Definitely give your doctor a call.
