Femcon question

So Dr. B has me on the BC pill called Femcon and ever since I have been bleeding. He said that I would stain a little bit but it has been really bad. I called and spoke to them and even e-mailed Dr. B asking him about it. He said not to worry but I am. Im on it for another week till next Thursday and then Im on Lupron. Im bleeding like I have the beginning of AF even though it's not really heavy but not really light either. Did this happen to anyone else? This is my 3rd IVF with him and it is a new protocol so I guess Im just not use to it.

When I went to Dr. B, he put me on Femcon too. I bleed like you, adn found out later that I had O'd straight thru them. I would demand a suppression check, I didn't and ended up wasting a month.

I've spotted on the pill before, not AF like but pink, light red bleeding.
Are you still bleeding from AF and it hasn't stopped or did you start bleeding while on the pill? If Dr. B said not to worry, I wouldn't. I'm sensitive to new drugs so I would probably think that if I've never been on it before, my body is just reacting to a new drug or how it's suppose to. Hang in there for the week.

I was on Femcon, and Judy told me to expect "breakthru bleeding." I had some light pink spotting when I wiped on a few occasions, but that was about it. When I went in for CD 3, Linda specifically asked me if I had any bleeding. They seem to expect it. If you're really uncomfortable though, I would call him or email him again and let him know that the bleeding hasn't subsided.

i think i ovulated on femcon too and had to wait another 3 weeks after i stopped the pill. i would ask to get a sono or bloodwork. i personally wont do the pill again bc it did nothing for me. i hope this isnt the case for you xoxoxo

It seems like everyone's situation on the pill is different. I was initially on it for 3wks which then turned into about 6 (delayed cycle due to scheduling issues) and I did have some breakthrough bleeding but was told it was normal. I didn't ovulate on it .. umm .. I don't even ovulate OFF it!
