anyone know anything about progesterone levels

I had an ob appt last week and, since I was close to ovulating, he sent me for some bloodwork to see what was going on. I have to wait for the dr, but spoke with the nurse. I got my smiley Sat morning, which is when I went for the bloodwork. My level was 1.2, which means I didn't O yet (she said a 2 would indicate O). My question is, if I was to ovulate somewhere in the 48 hours of testing positive, would my level increase to 2 or is a 1.2 on the day you test positive considered low? I won't speak to the dr til Thurs, so I was just wondering.
