you can defriend her or hide her.
If you aren't friends with her it wouldn't show when your sister 'likes' or comments on her stuff -- facebook usually only shows stuff like that for people who you have mutual friends with.

i would just hide her. do you know how to do that?
if not: wait for one of her statuses to pop up and then on the right side - where you can mouse over and the little X comes up. click on that. and a few options will display.
say her name is michelle. use 'hide all by michelle'
