Coach only does that with their limited edition bags. Only a few are priced that high. Some higher.

Not for nothing, my Coach bags that are older are in better condition than my Gucci.

Totally true! I have a Gucci I purchased on my honeymoon 3.5 years ago and it's fraying and that bag costs me a few thousand. I have a Coach clutch purchased 6 years ago for a few hundred and it held up so much better.

Even some of my LVs are not standing up and it makes me so angry especially the money I spent on them.

yeah um, I'd take that $800, buy a ticket to Florence and buy a leather bag for the remaining $200 from the vendors in the market outside the duomo.

Me too.

so funny! I agree with the guccis (i have 2 where the leather seams are fraying) but my LVs are by far the best in terms of how well they have held up. .As I was just saying to Deb the other day, I feel that they get better the older they get.. and I happen to love LVs customer service.Chat Icon

Re: Is it me....COACH- $$$$$$

I wouldn't spend $800+ on a coach bag, I think my max for coach would be $500.

I don't own any gucci bags, but I feel like that type of material would fray and get dirty, thats the only reason why I'm afraid to spend that much $ on one. I'm sure the leather ones hold up much better but they are much more $$$

My LV bags have held up really well, even the white and blue azur bag. My friends have bags that were passed down from their mothers (bags are 25+ years old) and they look awesome. Not brand new looking, but that cool worn in look.

I have one Fendi bag that has also held up really well over the years.
