Check out Freedom Fertility's website. They have the prices listed on there, they also have a program for people who have insurance but are not covered.

My insurance wouldn't cover it. It was $900 (as per what Kraupners pharmacy said)

Gonal-f is an injection that comes in a "pen" As the other girls said, you can check the prices on Freedom Fertility's website. It depends on the dosage in the pen. I think the 900IU pen is $780.
I have GHI also, but it is covered for me. I'm sure you checked correctly, but maybe just double check. I hope you don't need it more than once.

kind of crazy question but is it then pen or the meds that make it so much
i have a friend who has 3 unopened pens with 12 needles..would that save me any money or is that just kinda thrown in

She probably has the 900iu pens. That is a lot of medication. Are you doing IUI or IVF? Depending on how you respond, it should be enough for an IUI. If you need needles, I have about 60 that you are welcomed to!

The pens are prefilled, so if they are full pens then hopefully you can work seomthing out with your friend. Good luck. Also, Freedom Pharmacy will work with you if you have to pay out of pocket. Good luck!
