Starting gonal-f....... any tips? UPDATE: I DID IT!
So, we went to the RE today and I have a dominant follie that we are going to use gonal-f for so it continues to mature........ Then Monday I go back to get monitored and hopefully start my IUI during the week.
Any advice out there about gonal-f/follistim?! ...... I'm nervous about it because I HATE needles!!!! 
eta: any side effects to make note of? 
UPDATE:
I DIDN'T FEEL A THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  My DH did it ... I told him he should go to med schoool!!  He was awesome. DID NOT FEEL A THINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG (can you tell I am surprised by this?!)

they are the smallest of needles. Inject at a 90 degree angle (straight in). they really don't hurt.

I'm on Gonal-F shots and I was nervous at first, but it's really a piece of cake!  DH injects me at night and it's isn't painful at all!

I just want to get this over with! I feel like the anticipation is worth than the actual injection 
ETA: .......... Anyone notice any side effects?

OMG the anticipation will get you ... It took me about 20 minutes to let DH inject me the first time! LOL
I haven't really had any side effects BUT I've been super b!itchy lately and I like to think that it's because of the shots.

my tip - numb the spot you are going to inject with ice for at least 5-10 minutes before the inject. i swear you will barely feel anything if you do this.
dont be shy with the ice either - i use a cube and put it directly on the skin - making it nice and numb first.
the only side effects i have experienced are:
-bloating (usually a few days later and only from extended use of injectables)
-slight bleeding at the inject site (like a tiny drop or two if you inject crooked)
-black and blues at the inject site - this one for some reason happened really badly on my last two injects that i did. it didnt happen at all my first cycle of injects, and then in my second cycle i only got black and blue from the very last two of 17 injects that i had to do. not sure why it happened but they were REALLY dark and lasted for seriously two full weeks. they just now are starting to dissappear...

OMG yes!! The anticipation is 100000000% worse! I even started SHAKING before I let DH do it!!
