Prenatal Vitamin
Do you ladies take prenatal vitamins? With my first pregnancy my Dr had given them to me a few months before I wanted to start trying. I am in the process of switching Dr's so I was just curious what the norm was

I started taking them when I started TTC for  in 2007 and never stopped. My Dr told me to just stay on them since they're really just super multi vitamins.

My Dr told me to try different ones to see if any of them make me sick...I found 2 that don't affect me and she said it gets your body used to taking them. I am honestly not sure if they help in TTC sorry.

Yes. You should take them before ttc.
I've been taking them since September and during my miscarriage my doctor told me if I wanted to try again that I should continue taking them, so I've been on them for months already

My Dr. told me to start prenatals about 3 months before we plan to TTC. She said I could take OTC or prescription, as long as I take 1000mg of folic acid and a DHA supplement.

Been taking OTC ones - Multi Prenatals - since before I got prego 1st time - DD is now 9 mos. Been taking them ever since...going to start TTC in about 2 mos. I took the OTC ones my entire pregnancy - never an Rx one.

i was TTC for about 6 months and not taking prenatal vitamins, finally i went to the store and bought them and that month i got pregnant.... now i am not saying it all has to do with the vitamins, but i believe they did have a helping hand!
