Quick question- Guaifenesin?

How many days before you O do you start taking it? I have 400mg pills and it says to take it every 4 hours. Is there any harm in taking it for too many days? I am on CD14 and lately I have been Oing close to CD19-21. Is it too early/late to start taking it?

You should start 5 days before O. I have the 400mg tablets too and I *try* to take it three times a day though sometimes I forget. I dont think there is any harm in taking it 3x a day esp. since thats what the directions say. You shouldnt take it more than that though.

I was taking Robitussin (not sure of the mg) but I would take a dose in the am and a does in the pm- a little less then the prescribed dosage.

Its the active ingredient in Robitussin or any cough medication. It helps to thin out cervical mucus thus creating a more friendly environment for the sperm to survive in.
