How do you stay sane during the 2WW?

We are only on one month of trying. We used OPKs and I got my on CD 12, based on that only FF has me Oing on the 9th, obviously that can vary by a day or two. Based on that though, Im 7dpo and FF has my test date as the 28th, since I have no previous months info and my cycles vary from 25 to 30 days.

When would be the earliest you would test and it not be TOO early and run the risk of a false negative? I dont know if I can make it to the 28th (19dpo)!!!!

i was in the reverse situation since i ovulate late in my cycle (cd 18-cd 20) and have a short lp. so waiting to ovulate was much more frustrating. i would suggest not testing before 10 dpo. good luck!

yeah I ovulated late also. I waited til 10DPO.

Um, you don't!
Seriously though, it gets easier. I wouldn't test before 10dpo though b/c a BFN will just get you down.

its hard not too..esp in the beginning..i would try to hold out at least 10 dpo ..12 would be better

i waited to test until AF was late.. DH knows my cycle, so he was like no testing until your late.. I was better than I thought I would be.. I didn't want to be disappointed at the end.. so I just lay low and ***tried*** play cool

Only being on month too, it's tough. But thankfully we're going away for a long weekend next weekend and it's during my 2WW so I'm hoping it will be a good distraction.
