Advice...

Hey ladies,

When I was preg. I wished people would write things that helped them so I am going to do it.

My LO is now one month old and I thought I would write some things that have helped me through the month to hopefully help you when your LO is born...

The following items really helped:

Vibrating chair ( takes batteries but worth every penny)

Baby carrier on the chest. I have the Chico one and its great. My LO can be screaming and when my hubby or I put him in here he passes out!

Stock up on diapers, wipes and formula now. I thought LO would be out of NB quickly but he wasn't.

Make sure you have plenty on blankets. The first night my LO was home he peed through 8 blankets ( all but one!) I soon found out that for little boys you have to put their penis down otherwise they will wet themselves and everything on them. If you are having a boy they also need to be covered while you are changing them or there is a chance you will get wet if they pee while you are changing them. (I knew that before hand) what I didn't know is that if their penis is in straight up that is a sign they are about to go!

Last thing: During the day I love putting LO in onies and pants but at night it is sooo much easier to put him in a one piece that ZIPPERS!! I have ones with snaps but the zipper ones are so much easier.

So funny because I hate the zipper ones because I feel like I have to completely undress DD to change her with the zipper ones. I love snaps because she stays warmer because the top is still closed!
